Dr Ben Palmer

Ben is the CEO of Genos, a company he formed in August 2002 together with Swinburne University where he completed a PhD in Psychology. Since forming the company Ben and his team have grown Genos to be recognised as one of BRW’s Fastest 100 Growing Australian Businesses. Genos has direct sales and marketing operations across Australia and the United States and a distributor network of over 200 reseller licensees spanning all seven continents. In Australia over 30% of the ASX 200 currently utilise Genos products and services along with State and Federal Government Departments and a wide number of SMEs.

During his time at Genos Ben has led the design and delivery of a wide range of products and services ranging from Board performance reviews, to company culture formations, to front line employee recruitment strategies. He is a widely recognised academic expert on emotional intelligence and has an extensive publication list in this area. He is the recipient of numerous academic awards as well as the 2006 AITD (Australian Institute of Learning & Development) Award for an outstanding contribution to the practice of learning and development. Outside of work Ben is a lecturer at the Sydney Graduate School of Management co-facilitating their Developing Human Capital subject. He also enjoys wine making, political discussion and travelling.
